If you’re at all interested in business or marketing, read this book, or at least, listen to Seth Godin’s talks and interviews on YouTube.
Seth Godin considers himself a teacher first and foremost, and he is also one of the creators of email marketing. He’s also incredibly humble, incredibly kind, and incredibly wise. He’s written over a dozen best-selling books, and This is Marketing is just one of them.
In the beginning of the book, Seth says that it’s not about how big your brand is, how much money you bring in, or how many followers you have. It’s about who you can help, how you can help them, and if you’re successful at that. If you’re successful at solving someone’s problem, the money will take care of itself.
