May is National Creative Beginnings Month.

This year has been full of beginnings and firsts for me. I started painting in December–which granted, was last year. But I got a DBA, a business bank account, starting signing up for shows, etc etc this year.

So far, I’ve had two markets, and I enjoyed them. I’ve got 10 more markets that I’ve signed up/applied to.

I also started an Etsy shop. I know it has its problems, but hey, it’s Creative Beginnings Month, and I thought I’d have some fun with it, and see which wins out as far as (1) total revenue, (2) total profit, and (3) personal judgement.

My cousin says that Etsy will win against In Person Markets, but I’m not so sure. Sure, Etsy has millions of shoppers and 24/7 shopping, but I’m more easily seen and approachable in In Person Markets.

I suppose only time will tell which wins out 😉
